  1. Q: Does my dog need to be registered with NAVHDA International?
A: Yes. You may submit an application without the registration number and a position will be held until 30 days prior to the test. If the test director has not received your dog’s registration by 30 days prior to the test, your slot will be forfeited and your registration fee refunded.
  2. Q: Does the owner and/or handler need to be registered with a local chapter or NAVHDA International?
A: YES. Both the owner and the handler needs to be a member of NAVHDA International to test (additional $25 fee per test entry if the owner is not a member of Rocky Mountain Chapter).

Test Details:
The test is being held at Cobb Lake State Wildlife Area and will start promptly at 7:00 A.M. Directions are included below. Please be at the test site 15 minutes prior to THIS TIME (not the time you think your dog will run). We have a full test and the judges will give directions to all participants at 6:45 A.M. If you miss the judge’s instructions you run the risk of not being able to run your dog.

What to Bring:
Be prepared for all kinds of weather for both you and your dog. We usually have hot and dry conditions, so bring plenty of water for you and your dog(s). Also be prepared for inclement weather. Afternoon thundershowers are common in Colorado. Other items to bring include: first aid kit, dog food, your dog’s NAVHDA registry (to record score and have judge sign), and a shot gun for UT and UPT tests only. A folding chair and binoculars are also recommended. Lunch will be served at the test site both days for a small donation.
