2024 Snake Avoidance Training

RMC NAVHDA is proud to partner with Get Rattled to offer Snake Avoidance Training for our members and guests on Tuesday, May 28, and Wednesday, May 29, 2024

If you like to take your dog hunting, running, hiking, or camping or live on the outskirts of town, you and your pet are at risk of encountering Rattlesnakes! While you might have the sense to avoid a snake if you see it, your dog’s natural curiosity puts them at much greater risk of a venomous bite. Rattlesnake bites can cause excruciating pain, permanent physical damage, thousands of dollars in veterinary care, and, in the worst cases, even death.

GetRattled’s Snake Avoidance Training is a small investment to help ensure your dog and your family can avoid suffering this tragedy. For a small training fee, you will get extra assurance and peace of mind that your dog will avoid a dangerous rattlesnake encounter.

Training will be provided in 1-hour blocks starting at 9 am.

Six dogs can be accommodated in each time slot, so reserve your spot now! Registrations are open through noon on May 27th. Want more information? Check out Get Rattled’s FAQ.

The cost per dog is $150. Payment is required at the time of registration.
